Write for continuous movement

A scrolling message is read over time, not all at once. Put the most useful words near the beginning and remove introductions that delay the point.

Repeat the complete phrase with a visible gap. A seamless loop lets someone look up at any moment without seeing the message disappear or jump.

• Keep names and numbers easy to recognize
• Use separators between repeated ideas
• Read one complete loop before showing it

Choose a readable scrolling speed

Longer phrases need a calmer speed because the reader must hold more information in memory. Very fast movement attracts attention but makes the words harder to understand.

Test the display from the real viewing distance. If the reader cannot enter halfway through the loop and recover the meaning, shorten the message or slow it down.

Know when static text is stronger

Keep a name, price, gate number, or short direction static whenever it already fits at a useful size. The reader can then confirm the information without waiting for it to return.

Use scrolling for longer greetings, changing announcements, event messages, and phrases that would otherwise become too small.
