Screen visibility guide
Make a phone message easier to see
Prepare the screen for the actual light, distance, glass, and movement so the message remains readable outside the editor.
Try it nowKeep it short. Your text stays in this browser.
Shorten the message, use strong contrast, raise brightness when needed, control reflections, silence notifications, and aim the screen directly at the reader.
Prepare the phone before the moment
Set the brightness, orientation, and focus mode before holding up the sign. A notification, lock screen, or rotation can cover the message at the exact moment it matters.
Keep the battery charged and the screen clean. Fingerprints and a low power mode can make an already reflective display harder to read.
Control glare and viewing angle
Face the screen toward the reader rather than toward your own eyes. Small angle changes can move a bright reflection away from the letters.
Through glass, move the display closer to the window and test it from outside. In direct sun, find shade when possible; brightness alone may not overcome reflections.
Fix the message before adding brightness
A shorter phrase creates larger letters and is often the biggest visibility improvement. Use one high-contrast foreground and a flat background.
For frequently used messages, LED Banner keeps prepared signs available without rebuilding the display each time.
- Use one to five words
- Try landscape and portrait
- Test from the reader’s position
- Keep safety and surroundings visible
TAKE THE MESSAGE WITH YOU
